Japan
Full time position are available teaching English as a foreign or second language (TEFL/TESL) in the vicinity of Kyoto and
Osaka cities in Japan. Two positions are available. Duties include teaching both adults and children, including young children,
and preparing daily lesson plans based on our curriculum.
In addition to teaching, teachers are expected to support the school in hosting its annual Christmas Concert and biannual
Summer Camp for the children's classes and occasional get-togethers for the adults' classes. We do prefer candidates who have
attended a TEFL/TESL certificate course. We are also interested in candidates who can speak a second language or hold a
bachelor's degree in a foreign language, education, early education, literature, English or related fields. Teaching is
from 25 to 27 hours a week; total working time is around 40 hours a week when time for preparation is included. The salary
starts at 290,000 yen per month (approximately $2,300 USD); there's paid vacation, health insurance and travel expenses support
at the completion of a one-year contract. Housing is also provided in the form of a fully furnished apartment at a cost of
60,000-65,000 yen/month (approx $485 to $525 USD).
New Zealand
A number of positions are available for TEFL/TESL teachers for our Language schools in New Zealand over the next 6 months.
Applicants should possess TEFL/TESL teaching experience, a graduate degree, and a TEFL/TESL certificate from an international
TEFL/TESL course provider. Preference will be given to applicants with professional experience in the areas of business
administration, computing and those with additional qualifications in these areas. Must be native English speaker.
Salary depends on experience, with the contact hourly rate (class time rate) ranging from NZ$27- $30 with a 4.5 hour teaching
day (more if requested). Assistance is offered for settling into accommodation. We also offer a pay raise to staff that
undertake our popular and free in-service professional development training.

Positions: The International Foundation for Education and Self-Help (IFESH) invites applications from school teachers, college
and university professors, and school administrators who wish to spend one academic year helping to improve the quality of
education in English and French-speaking African countries, including Benin, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Malawi and Namibia.
Eligibility -- Applicants Must:
* Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of U.S.
* Be in good health
* Have a college degree
Benefits: The Teachers for Africa Program pays the cost of placement, orientation, international transportation and health
insurance, and provides a monthly stipend of $800 and allowances for pre-departure and settling-in costs.
